I saw the following quote and realized that this is definitely a resolution I can keep!!!

resolution #1 . I vow not to meddle with them (especially the purple ones). I will not interfere with them nor try to boss them around. I will not volunteer to do their taxes nor offer relationship advice (because what the hell do I know about dragon love anyway).
I will be polite to all dragons I meet and will help old lady dragons across the street.
If they ask, I will make them soup when they are sick but I will not lend them my car.

Resolution #2 (It’s iffy, but I think I can keep this one too) In order to keep the buns supple, I will wear bun armour at all times around dragons. (and keep your dirty minds to yourselves….we are not going to discuss how we prevent the hot dogs from getting roasted !!)

Resolution #3….My son still views me as a hero…so I guess I’m stuck on this. We will confront dragons on a regular basis and make journeys out of our days.

Resolution #4. May or may not succeed, but gonna keep fighting.

This made my (very early) day. Have a great new year! And as fathers, what greater compliment can we have to have our children view us as their heroes?
My daughter still does too …even at 21. The nice thing about that, is that she has seen the cracks in the armor…and still believes.
